That's a hard call man, cuz if there is no swingarm and it was broken and never fixed it makes me wonder how well the bike was taken care of over the years. To me it would be worth it because it sounds like a fun project, but you must look at it as a project cuz chances are you will run across a couple other things that need to be replaced when u are working on it. The trade seems pretty good, but i don't know about 700 bucks for a quad with no swingarm. If it were me, i would take a quick look at coolant level and color, to try and determine if it has been in there forever and if it's dirty, look at the air filter and carb boots to see how loose they are. Dirt running through the motor is what will kill a bottom end, if all this stuff looks dirty and not taken care of, then chances are the motor might not be as reliable as you want. Just my 2 cents. Let us know how it goes.

hmm, alright. im not sure if i understand all that stuff. but ill try, and it does have a swing arm, it is just broken off the axel. and what exactly do i need check to see if dirt was running through the engine.

look in the boot from the filter to the carb to check if dirt ran through it, inspect the case for any cracks carefully, coolant color green=good brown=bad, check the frame for bends or twists, take it for a ride and see how it feels. Good luck

alright thanks, where is that boot located, i cant think of where it is. also it has a broken swingarm so i wont be able to ride it.

Im having my swingarm welded on my 85 lt250r, i lookied it over on my 85 b4 i bought it it needed tlc but i forgot to check airbox and found birds nest when i got it home lol id go for it anyway cause they r good quads
