IMO 2 strokes and 4 strokes each have their own place. I dont see why it has to be so stinking controversial. Its so basic that there shouldnt be an arguement at all. Take a 250 and see which makes more power,2 or 4 stroke. Now take 2 grand and see which one can be built to go faster ,2 or 4 stroke. I love my 2 strokes for riding and rippin, But at the same time I love my 4 strokes for mowwing the lawn and driving to work and such. I will never try to mixx the two i guess. The fact will ALWAYS remain that with enough money, you will be able to build it bigger, no matter which it is, just depends on your limit.

i rode an ltr the other week....it was nothing special. It was like being on my new 125 i got. in no way did it impress me. the raptor 700 isn't a bad quad adn I wouldn't mind getting one. But I'll never get rid of the shee or my bike. My buddy rides a kx 250f and he raced my 06 yz and after the race he wanted to trade bikes straight up. I just laughed and said no. everything has its place. when it comes down to dollar for dollar my $3000 machine i bought can blow away your brand new $7000 machine...i dont mind the new four strokes....i like teh fact that they have a large amount of bottom end which is nice in the woods. but once you get out in the open its just about over lol. Im going to ride the trails next weekend in northern wisconsin,....riding with a 400ex, 3 700 rappys, some other stuff....should be interesting I think. I'll find out what the ported shee can do. As for now...trying to find the air leak, and riding my yz125 religously.

my pops was telling me his glory stories the other day in the garage telling me how good he was on his atc250r and wooping on people and him racing and saying they dont make bikes like they use too anymore beocuse with his new yfz450 that he has now has already been threw a rear break calper and two sets of float pins a vavle adjustment and skid plate and rear rotor and he has over 25 years of experence on three wheelers and quads and he straight out told me "IF I HAD THIS BIKE BACK IN THE 80'S WHEN I HAD MY ATC I WOULD OF WENT THREW AND AXLE,FOOTPEGS PROBABLEY BACK SHOCK AND A TOPEND OR TWO AND I CANT RIDE THIS YFZ LIKE I DID MY ATC'' and that is the exact same words he told me

and trust me dad knows how to ride he beats some of the fastest bikes at pismo this becouse he knows how to ride he rides way harder then me

becouse he learned it all riding his 250r 2-stroke
