i rode an ltr the other week....it was nothing special. It was like being on my new 125 i got. in no way did it impress me. the raptor 700 isn't a bad quad adn I wouldn't mind getting one. But I'll never get rid of the shee or my bike. My buddy rides a kx 250f and he raced my 06 yz and after the race he wanted to trade bikes straight up. I just laughed and said no. everything has its place. when it comes down to dollar for dollar my $3000 machine i bought can blow away your brand new $7000 machine...i dont mind the new four strokes....i like teh fact that they have a large amount of bottom end which is nice in the woods. but once you get out in the open its just about over lol. Im going to ride the trails next weekend in northern wisconsin,....riding with a 400ex, 3 700 rappys, some other stuff....should be interesting I think. I'll find out what the ported shee can do. As for now...trying to find the air leak, and riding my yz125 religously.
