| I thought this thread was about 2stroke enthusiasts being a dying breed. I think that the 2stroke is being forced out of the market . I know one thing, they aren't going to die quietly. My son "1upfront" and I went to the dirt drags last Sunday and the 2strokes rule there. The real dying breed of 2strokes are the air cooler fanatics. If you wan't to see a craptor owner really get embarrassed you should see the look on their face after they've had their ass handed to them by an old aircooled 250R. It's priceless. This is a vid of 1upfront doing just that to a modded 700raptor. ![]()

| well 4x4 muddin quad ....4 stroke allday long ....but i smoke all my freids bikes...400exs z400 a done UP 350 turd (its acctully pretty effin fast)...but well there not fast enofe....i pull way form them every where weather its on the road ... flat tracking aroudn a field ...hill climbin .....w/e it is...... they have been dumbin money hand over fist into there bikes and guess what ....i still got my K&N filtered shee.....nothign else done....i got the least money in my quad i might spend more money on fuel but who cares when your out front leadin allday long :P

| havn't read ALL of the posts on here (7 freakin pages) but i thought that i might just throw in a quick story about how on my newly acquired 99 yz250 (not the prettiest or most glamorous by a long shot; bone stock cept the fmf fatty) i smoked my friends 08 yfz450........loved the look on his face when my 900 dollar machine put his 8g's to shame |

| 4strokes have their place and as I kept finding out it was last. You can spend all your money making them faster but you still are just trying to beat banshees. Everywhere you read articles about this 4stroke or that 4stroke and how it can run with the banshee. Never read an article about a banshee built to run with a Raptor. Some of us actually are smart that's why we ride or in my case switch to real power. |

| Thats an awesome vid.I remember those early 80's air cooled 250 r's.My buddy still has an 84 that just outright flys.I am glad to see that you have started your son on the right track.I am waiting for my kid to get a little bigger then I will build him a really nice blaster .....Man that guy on the raptor must've been pissed getting his ass handed to him by a 30 + year old machine...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
