| Nah, they want people spending the most possible money not the least wherever the money is at thats where the R&D will go. Big Five don't want you spending a couple hundred a year to ride. The more complex it is the more parts that will ware out(and they will adventually) and that's where the money goes.

| they are milking the 4 strokes for all its worth. all they have to do is tweak the rules of racing just a tad and everyone will be back on 2 strokes. In the sled world the majority of riders are still on 2 strokes

| i know ski-doo put the new DFI 2 stroke motor in their new sleds, and Polaris has CFI for their sleds, but the main thing for dirtbikes and quads is the weight that goes with all the extra components to make the EFI or DFI work. you need a bunch of sensors and a computer to read the sensor data and adjust accordingly.

| i could see the weight or bulkiness being a problem on dirtbikes but on a quad there would be plenty of room and it couldnt add more than 15-20 pounds, if that much
