| I could actually figure out how effective these inline coolers are, but that would involve me using my heat transfer knowledge and that's not something I do for fun. I will explain it in some more scientific terms, though. The fins do create more surface area from which the heat can escape by way of convection (heat transfer to the outside air), but the material (aluminum) also helps. The rubber radiator hose acts as an insulator and keeps most of the heat in the antifreeze. This is because rubber is not a good conductor of heat. The aluminum, on the other hand, will receive the heat from the antifreeze and conduct it to the outer surface of the inline cooler where some of that heat will convect to the outside air. Remember that the flow of heat is always from warmer substances to colder substances. Also, remember that denser materials are better conductors of heat. So will these inline coolers work? Theory says yes, they do work. The effectiveness, or efficiency of the inline coolers is the unknown. It definitely won't hurt having them on your quad.

| i would think 2 would be better than one and the more fins on it the better it would work(more surface area) instead of buying them im thinking of just making them. and where is engine ice available i cnat find it anywhere near me is there any websites u can order it from and in that redline water wetter negood i can get that stuff

| Howdy, i have 2 of these Inline Coolers in my Zilla. IMO you will have 1 or 2 degrees less as without them. Take a look at the picture. Maybe i will upload another picture with booth inline coolers.

| Sounds like we should get some aluminum tubing to replace most of the radiator hose. You would have less hose to blow and you could attach all the fins you want within practicality. I'm going to look into some tubing for my LT250r and see what I can come up with. |

| Yeah, but go ahead and let that get smacked by a big rock or something and you're screwed unless you can protect it decently. |

| whoa this got way outta hand hahah..... first off how are you gonna attach fins..... and you buy them already made up........ just buy one of the bigger ones and install it
