| Kold Kutters i think 3/4 inch are the way to go. But Kold Kutters are one of the best that you can get. And cheng shin ice tires are really good. If you look at the screw they will have a v cut in the head. They work excellent.

| I'll agree with the Kold Kutters, but I always get the 1 inch. I seem to throw too many of the 3/4 with the zilla. You can put the screws in with the tire on the rim. Use a bottle of Slime in each tire when done. Inspect the tires before and after each race for missing screws and replace them. |

| Right on Kane you just summed it up i just went and bought my new cheng shin ice tires about 2 hours ago. Now i just need to find me some Kold Kutters.

| Another little tip to help from throwing studs... like Kane said.. use the 1" and while you're screwing them in, dab the threads of each stud in crazy glue. Sounds crazy, but we tried it for the first time last winter and lost about 90% fewer studs. Also, spend the extra ching-a-ling on the hardened steel ice studs instead of sheet metal screws. The Chen Shin ice tires mentioned earlier are great... I personally use cut Turf Tamers.... they grip like crazy on the ice... about 400 studs per tire in the rear and 250 per tire in front.

| Also, add about a 15 degree angle INTO the rotation to add better contact surface. This also reduces stud loss. |
