Default idle question

ALright , i recently put a thumb throttle and a new exhaust on my quad, now it seems to idle quite high,, however the only time i let the bike idle is when warming up so my question is will having the idle high hurt the bike,, it seems to be running alot stronger on the bottom end,, but could the high idle hurt the bike?

If you put a new throttle on chances are its not adjusted correctly and the slide is not going down far enough in the carb.

Maybe rerouting the cable will give you a hairs more free length. Likely you just need a slightly longer cable.
