90% of the time when people put the CR500 motors or KX500 motors in a quad they have vibration problems even with rubber mounts.

ohh i c. does anybody know if the 84-85 tecate is counterballanced? cuz i dont think it is, and if thats all the vibration that you would get with a kx500 motor i could easily live with that.

I dont know for sure if it is counterbalanced or not but you would still have considerably more vibration just from the fact that it is a 500 .

You are only going to be able to have minimal rubber mounting. How you gonna keep the chain on if it is all mounted in rubber? It has to be fixed solid in the swingarm frame area.

well for the rubber mounts im meaning the top mount, front mount, and if possiable the bottom one. but yea there is a kx500 powered T3 on ebay right now, it looks pretty tits but its set up for just dragging, its got the out of frame pipe, wheelie bar, but it doesnt say anything about motor work done other than the pipe
