I'm not sure, I've never heard of a bike with a k&n, I heard cleaning with gas is bad for the foamys though. doesn't it deteriorate the glue or somethin?

ya... your supposed to use this special cleaner... but gas for a short time then rince with water does the trick... just don't let it sit too long in gas

psssh! lol gas is my best friend. i clean EVERYTHING in gas. gas deteriorates stock foam filters a little bit. after a while they will start to come apart, but my twinair is fine with it. when i first started riding back in 2000 we had xrs so we didnt clean our filters much, but when i got my kx 60 we started buying the "special cleaner" in the metal gallon tin for like $10. never noticed one bit of difference between it and pumpgas. using gas to clean your filters is also good becasue no gas ever goes to waste. if it got left out in a quick shower with the cap off, then it just becomes cleaning solvent and everyones happy.
