Default horror story

well some of you are probably wondering how i got along with wheel spacers, well they worked fine for the 5 minutes that they had to do anything... my 250r quit... i broke a piece out of the case that i jb-welded back in....

well a few days later i was trying to start it by pulling it with the truck, i had it running and i had the clutch pulled in... something happened and the clutch stuck when i was getting pulled at about 30 miles an hour... i was in first gear and it hit about 12,000 rpm, ate my v-force 2 reeds right out of the cage... ruined my case, and ate my clutch plates...

so i dont know about wheel spacers but i am not goint to take mine off... if i can ever get my good ol 2-stroke runnin

i think trying to jumpstart ur three wheelr at 30mph is pretty nuts, especially jumping it in 1st gear at that speed, sucks about the spacers, good luck getting it goin again

Sooo i really hope you aren't blaming the wheel spacers for your problem??? that would just be ignorant. sounds like you should have purchased new cases or got the hole welded by a proffesional welder. either way good luck.

The hole in his cases had nothing to do with his problem. And he means he hasn't been able to run the bike with wheel spacers to test and see if they were worth anything not that they are to blame for his trouble.

Good luck getting your motor running again. I don't think I would let that person pull me again because they were going about 20 mph to fast. If you ever pull start never go fast because if it won't run then something is needing attention and more speed just leads to more trouble.

before i got new axle and a arms i ran wheel spacers.. was climbin a big ass hill and the left rear wheel fell off. could have been the spacers or weak studs anyway it bent the old stock arms and axle.. lol

i agree u were being pulled way to fast.. and if you wanted to be pulled that fast you should have been in like 3rd or 4th gear.. then pop the clutch .. and when or if it fires just pull the clutch in. sorry about the motor though
