Think I Got Taken? (Resolved)

Well, I bought a set of rims and tires, plastics, nerf bars and a steering stem from tattooedup, and he did send the rims and tires. But now it has been over a week and a half and I still havn't seen the rest of it. I sent messages to him all last week for the tracking number on the rest of it and he hasn't answered me at all. I paid for it through paypal and have made a dispute, but I'm really gettin pretty mad. Anyone know how to get in touch with him? He said he sent it out on like the 29th or 30th of may. I know it takes a while to get to iowa from california, but I really don't think it would take this long. Anybody have any answers please let me know.

2 points here:

1) You should try working things out behind the scenes before bringing it to a public forum. 2 weeks really isn't much time.

2) Do to fuel costs, UPS & FedEx are not moving trucks until they are packed full. You can still pay for faster shipping but if you are going ground, you are going to wait longer than your used to. They can push the limits of thier time tables in order to capitalize on every drop of fuel.

I don't know him but it could be a bit too soon...
I've shipped stuff to Michigan that's taken 4 weeks, other stuff to Indiana in 4 days.....
Hope he didn't take you as you believe, hope you guys get this resolved and you get parts soon!

i agree, give it some time, it took nelson bout a month to get somethin from someone on here, but he got it, it wasnt members fault, ups.

yea 2 weeks is kinda short if you were coming up on a month then i woulda made the dispute and brought it to the forum but give it some time bra it will get there

Regardless, communication is obviously lacking here, NOT UPS, etc. There is nothing I hate more than when sellers suck at communication. I know, I know we are all busy, but let's be serious...

Thanks guys, I really do think he sent it out. I know it can take quite a while to get stuff sent, guess I am just worrying because I havn't heard from him for a while. Had a couple of bad experiences buying stuff online before and I guess just not hearing from him kind of spooked me. I don't see why he would send rims and tires if he was just going to take my money, that really wouldn't make sense I don' t think. Just worries me that all of a sudden he isn't getting back to me or trying to give me a tracking number or anything.

As far as the paypal thing, I havn't escalated it or anything just put a concern in and I can drop that anytime. I really don't want to tick him off if it is on it's way, but just trying to cover my end at the same time, ya know.
