| I got a complete bolt kit from the fasternerguy, they look great and are a good upgrade to any banshee. |

| The bolts look great for anything that is not going to take stress but the bolts are not good for a-arms or shock mounts. You need hardend steel for those parts.

I ran the stainless bolts on my arms but I was only going across sand...I woud not reccommend using the a-arm bolts for any kind of jumping or hardcore riding.... |

| thats why he doesn't include foot peg bolts. stainless would shear right off on a good jump. i bought a set for a lt250r awhile ago. it didnt include all the case bolts for the engine. maybe he's fixed that now? |

| Im considering one of these bolt kits sometime in the near future - what grade does stainless translate too? lower than 5? obviously not grade 8? Just curious if its going to be worth it or if im better chasing down only what i need/want to replace when i do the restoration. And im glad i was reading this - i lost a foot peg bolt and grabbed some from the hardware store without considering what quality they were. Ill have to double check that now. Whats the advantage to using/not using lock washers? bah, ill stop rambling, thanks guys. |
