 Vance & Hines I got my cylinders back from the machine shop yesterday. The work came out very clean. The price was nice too! $100 for the bore & hone, not only that but Rick [owner] also ordered my Wiseco Prolite Piston kit. I felt damn happy to pick up a complete package.. You have no idea!! Now, there was a delay in the service. Rick told me he had to leave town in three days. He said it was manditory to have the pistons in order to get an accurate bore down to spec. Eviltwin said it's a good thing. So the pistons were ordered but they didn't arrive in time before Rick left town. I recieved a call same day he returned from the trip, "Your Cylinders Are Ready" A bit of an inconviniece yes, but I don't mind the wait when good communication is involved. Plus, this was the only reputable guy in my area. Rick is also a good mechanic. He had a few Shee's, Blasters & a bunch of 70's - 80's dirbikes lined up for work. This 65 yr old rides a piped & ported 500cc Dirtbike. Gave me a shop tour & shared a huge photo album from all his riding trips.  Good to hear that it all went well. Communication is the key to good business, especially when inconveniences are involved. Gonna mark them on my preferred business list. Sounds like a cool guy!
