Thumbs up Full Flight A arms ... Good deal...

I have had my full flight installed now for about 60-70 hours of trail sand and jumping time and they are holding up great.I bought them on E bay for $365 and they came complete with heim joints and spacers and everything you need to install them.I had to use bronze bushings at the frame mounting point due to the spacers were about 3/8s to short.Easy fix. This past sunday I was flying through a tight trail and my left front tire snagged a tree which stopped the quad dead in its track.I went over the bars and was sure I had seriously messed up the front end.I checked everything over and the arms and heim joints are fine. Not bent or loose at all.My asr 5/8s tie rod got bent but that was all the damage it got.Alot of people are concerned with the alloy heims but they are very strong and will hold last .You can buy chromoly heims from full flight also.So for anyone concidering buying full flight arms they are way better than stock and you can adjust them with 12 points to fine tune a tweaked frame or camber and toe in etc.......Well worth the money.........................

huh.... realy good to know! ahhah... i have actualy been watching a pair of those arms on ebay, for a few days now.... iv been debating wether or not to buy, but my concern was the structure and stability.... your always worried about quality when buying a brand that hasnt been around for a long time... and sometimes when you see things going for way cheaper then the competition, you wonder were people cut corners to drive the cost of the product so cheap, it makes you weary... brings you back to the old addage, "you get what you pay for"... you say you didnt get the upgraded hiems, and you are still happy with them? Thanks for the post man, it helped me. i think im going to get over the bump and make the purchase...

Yes the stock lies do work but they are stretched.I had to get a set of stainless lines and they work perfectly...

Heres a closeup pic of the bronze bushings I installed in the mounting points.Rather than squeeze thr frame to meet the spacers thes bronze washers work perfectly. You can get them at any hardware store for about 65 cents each...

think i will squez the frame a little to see how the brackets bend.... bronze will wear, id rather have the frame butting up againgst the stainless, rather then the bronze washers.... but good idea though.... i might end up having to do that anyways....

i believe they do.... but warrantys do not mean as much to me as a quality product... i would rather not replace anything ever... but my main concern, is that i ride pretty hardcore. im 21, and i get hurt enough doing crazy stuff on my quad.. that is why when i buy stuff, i try and buy the best... with quality parts underneath me, iv got nothing to fear but my own judgment....lol.... but seriously, if i had an a arm break at high speed, dune running, or trial riding, i could get seriously hurt.... i broken a arm means endo for sure! you wont coast to a stop, you will most likely flip over, no matter how fast you are moving when it happens...
