so about a month ago I woke up extremely hungover to a call from paypal. They asked me if I had transfered $400 to another bank account the night before and I responded HELL NO. They put my account on hold and refunded the money to my bank account and got the overdraft fee waved, awesome. But here's the best part, yesterday I bought a polaris pool cleaner off ebay for my dad and when i went to pay for it there was magically $388 in my account, even more awesome. I was going to order some works shocks right away but then i decided it would be better to save it to help pay for my road trip to KY in a couple weeks. I love free money, i wonder if this was a screw up or compensation for the account hijacking.

thats crazy. I've had sooo many problems with paypal not getting orders right/prompt, i don't deal with them anymore.

just had someone try to transfer $950 from my account last night at 3am. Money was going Newegg.com. i hope paypal leaves the 950 in my account. lol.

no clue how they could have guessed my password. its like 15+ digits long. crazyness.

The funny thing about it.. the 950 was being taking out of a bank account that doesnt exist anymore..

well.... if what yuor saying that they replaced more money then was taken, be carefull not to spend it.... these things happen, they will soon figure out what happened and when they do, they will take there money back emediatly... every electronic transfer leaves a trail. with a company as big as paypall, im sure they have a whole team of people who go around tieing up loose ends like this, and making sure the books are balanced to the fraction of a penny.... one time, about 2 years ago... i woke up and checked my wells fargo bank account, and i swear to god! there was 13 thousand doolars extra in my account! i had no idea where it came from or anything... the transaction descripitiopn gave an address from arizona... i was so shocked that i called the bank to ask them to verify my funds.... sure enough, the lady was like, 13,600 dollars.... so i sat on it for like 3 weeks wondering if i should spend any of it.... then one day without any warning, it dissapeared... about 3 days later, wells fargo sent me a letter in the mail.... it said "we regret to inform you that we made a small accounting error with your wells fargo checking account. Review your online statement and let use know if your current funds are accurate". if i would have spent any of that money i would have been screwed!

Well i basically live on paypal, i love it, i have had my share of problems dont get me wrong, but most of the time it was my own fault. But i basically use paypal for everything i do, i even have the paypal credit card.

I never had Pal probs, I find it a big benefit. Makes me feel comfy when purchasing.
I have RJATV's account in there, a couple clicks later and bam! Transaction processed, sure makes life easy!!
