dont count your chickens! i say spend about 600 and have you a badd asss runnin blasty. 180 stroker,200 port work, carb 200, 50 for a boot. new a arms 400$ shocks3-4 hund rear shock 3-4hundy. then u can be the underdog and still rip it up! i dont think u will get 3g for the blasty. my wife has an 06 with a the mods listed above and we might get 2g if lucky. as discussed before its better to build then buy. get your pops in on it with you and yall can have a project together. never know he might be riddin one soon!

i agree with everybody else. build the blaster. ive got a yfz and im gonna tell you from experiance, you will spend a ton of money to make yourself happy with the power. i drag race a banshee so im never happy with the power of my 450. dont get me wrong its a very nice machine for a four stroke, it handles like its on rails and you can lug it around the trails and even do some mx. the thing is you already own the blasty, you not going to get a ton of money out of it,not that theres anything wrong with it, but thats the way it is. you could spend a fraction of the cost to do the mods that NELSON described, and still be able to wrench on it yourself. this is not a democracy here, you can do as you wish or what makes you happy we're just tryn to give honest oppinions.

but on topic.. if it was me i would stay with the blaster.. send the jug out to be ported.. get the head milled.. buy some cheap works shocks.. or look on ebay.. seen a set of Ohlins shocks go for under $100 the other night.. (if i had the money they where mine)
Think of it this way.. to rebuild your blaster is gonna be less then $200 for the top end.. if you blow up the yfz your looking at close to $1000 if not more depending on what you do to it.. Now to get more power out of the yfz you better go get a second job.
