 85 lt vs. lt500r So this weekend I took a trip with Matt (Blaster250) up to Bull Gap. I am very pleased to say that my machine ran great & took several turns beating the 450's up the sand hill. I was talking to some other folks that was in the parking lot, they were riding 2 lt500r's and a Banshee. Later in the afterneeon I saw tham on the trail and we found a long level & straight trail wide enough for two machines. This lt500r I lined up aginst was the best one of their group with a PT pipe K&N filter and jetted carb. We raced a total of four times down this road, every time I got him off the line & continued to pull away from him. When I had hit top RPM's in 5th he would start to pull ahead (Never being too far behind me). To be able to beat him 4x in a row put a perminant smile on my face all day. His buddies had stated he had never thought I would have had a chance. After these races were over the other Lt500r & banshee refused to race me. I should say that I was runnig paddles while he was running trail tires, however the surface we raced on was packed dirt road. Not bad for a standard bore non-powervalve 250....... Also some one was nice enough to let me try a YFZ 450 up the hill a couple of times.....OVERRATED

| Thats awesome man, my lt250r also pulls away from my cousins zilla, i dont leave him hard but i do start inching away.

| Nice! Too bad that return trail on the Hill climb is a mile long now. They ruined it. They should have cut the return right next to it. I did not go down the over 50" return. Maybe that is shorter. |
