| and actually if you ask denny or (eviltwin) he will tell you the negs about the cpi and why the shearers are better....but i guess it comes down to user taste and puprose |

| wel l theres negs to any pipe unless its custom made specificly for that engine. cpi will make more midrange and lowend torque ..shearer tend to make more rpm and higher peak numbers .bot hgood pipes for their purposes ,i just favor the shearers personlly becasue i have experiance with them .theres a lot of good running cpi bikes

| I personally gained 4 mph on the hill with shearer pipes. I did the test within an hour of each other. same conditions, same everything. No jet changes, no adjustments. made about 6 runs each time to get an average. MAde the runs, went to camp, changed pipes, went right back out. I am impressed with the shearers, but the cpi's run extemely well also.

| I'm gonna go with cpi as my choice. When you crack the throttle open the pipes just hit like a heart attack and pull like a mother fucker! Great exhaust system, well worth the money. |

| i saw 2 dyno sheets today from the exact same bike 1st run with CPI 2nd with Shearer pipes and the Shearer outdid the CPIs by far! Just to revive the thread!

| i run shearer on my shee and i know matt personally. There great pipes i have friends who run cpi's with the same build as my bike personally i think it all comes down to what you want your bike to do. with my shearers i run them down about halfway up oldsmobile but through the mid gears they kill me.
