Default 07 CR250R Spark Plug Fouling BR9EG-N-8

i don't know why my search still isn't working. when i click on search it doesn't do anything.

anyways, what is up with this plug? seriously, i am going through 3 of these plugs for an hour and a half of riding. and i da** sure don't drive slow to foul them up.

i was only running 32:1 for break in. i have been running 40:1 for a while now and i still am fouling like crazy. was running golden spectro for break in but only cuz i had amsoil dominator on order. i now am running full amsoil dominator.

my airscrew is 2 turns out like the manual says

honda ONLY recommends this plug. i didn't care today. i bought some BR8EG's but probably won't be able to try them for a while cuz i'm going out of town.

What plug are you 07 CR250R riders using?

i remember having this problem in my old suzuki and the fix was a B8ES. that plug rode forever. i could seriously let my bike sit there and idle as long as i wanted. it never fouled!

I'm running a BR9EG in my '01. To me it looks like your jetting is out, double check that your jets are in order and that the clip is in the correct slot and also that it's not damaged. Buddy of mine had the same problem on his YZ and his whole needle and slide was a bit stuffed. Hope this helps.

Its usually never a problem with a plug. It has to be your jetting. If it runs good on the top end I would say you need to move your needle clip up one slot. Try that and do a plug chop. Go from there. I could let my bike idle untill it was out of gas and not foul a plug

havnt been doing any fast riding just normal trails stuff, novice riding with my gf and havnt had any hassles yet.

its a jet issue. 32:1 is fine 40:1 is ok.
as far as plugs go, if its jetted correctly
than it will burn just fine on a B8es. do
not mix it at 50:1 especially if its a 2007.
your in socal...for the air screw try a
turn and a half.

All these guys have some good advice. I run a 01 and was having some problems with smoke and fouling. It wound up being the crank seals. Your bike souds like it is to young to be having that problem. You never know. If you have an after market pipe alot of times they call for different slow jets.
