| Is the spark plug itself stripped cause you could buy a new one or are you talkeng where the plug screws in to the engine

| I might start by saying i have had atc90s and atc110s and all of them believe it or not have stripped the head where the plug screws in to must be chaep metal they made the head out of And every one i have put in heli coils and it works i dont know why it wouldnt work

| did you have to ull the head off to do so? and is it a pretty simple job? ive never used helicoils for anythign so thats why im asking. thanks

| A tip if you do this it to put grease on the drillbit and tap so all that metal doesnt get in to the cylinder and also on the heli coil that little tab that is on it that the tool hooks on to screw it in make sure you break it off using a pair of needle nose pliers so it doesnt fall in to the cylinder too

| oh ok so dont even pull the head off just leave it on? thats what i was wondering cause i fugured all teh shavings woudl fall inside teh cylinder

| it isnt hard at all you dont have to pull the head if you do what i stated above just follow instructions on the heli-coil package and use the tips i stated that way you dont have to pull the cylinder and head off cuz them motors are a bitch and complicated to put and pull apart

| ya i have had to do it to all of mine and using grease keeps the shavings out just drill i little then wipe the bit off and apply more grease so all the shavings dont build up on the bit and fall in the cylinder and if you have an air compressor blow out the cylinder when you are done to make sure no shit is in there
