05 CR85 jetting/stalling problems

Just got an 05 CR85 for my boy - starts on choke ok, continue warming up with choke of and then after 3-5 mins stall like I have hit the kill switch - anyone else having problems? Jetting is stock per the book and I have checked it all - we are sea level moderate temps so I am lost.

is the bike broken in completely? what oil are you useing and at what ratio? have you changed spark plugs since break in?

Yep - got the oil right (castrol TT) - drained the tank (tap works ok) and put in fresh just in case. Yes, new plug since break in - bike has about 10 hours on it
