| Somebody just gave me an 87 Cr500 as a project and i was wonderin if anyone had any experience w/ them? I've got quads not bikes so i have no reference when it comes to this. I'm thinking if i can get it running id sell it and my blaster to get a banshee or quadzilla. do you think that sounds good or is it goin to be sweet enough to be a keeper? So, basically im asking, "will it kick a$$ or be a piece of trash?" thanks in advance |

| how about stuffing it in a quad frame ? the cr is better than the lt motor by far, but an 87 is pretty dated and i wonder about its older port design and any design problems with compresion or cranks or what have you. most people will say you cant track the ground with it and if its not spinning, its wheelying so its a matter of taste i suppose ,this is why its not so poular on an mx track ,but the same can be said for a she or zilla too ,sometimes for some applications you can have to much power ,personally id do as you suggested sell them and get a she
