250R IMS Roll Intimidator

I'd like to have a IMS Roll Intimidator bumper for my '87 250R and I have heard a that a bumper from a Z400 will fit a 250R. Anybody ever try this? I might just buy a stock Z400 bumper off ebay to make sure it works. Thanks for any help
