Old Ass R, haning with new 4-bangers

Today i went to the local MX track and hit up the practice sessions. Today i finally proved to all them dudes that an old ass R can acutally hang with some 4-strokes. A dude on a DS 650 and a dude on a 400ex both wanted to see what the ole R had in her, so i showed em. I stayed infront of the 400 but trailed the 650 by 0-15 feet or so, depending on the area of track. If i had a decent set of rear tires that hooked up in loamy soil and cornered good, then i'm sure i could have passed him. (i'm getting kenda claws). Just wanted to let ya know. O yea, sorry i am behind on posting, work and school and riding leave no time for computer.

Mx Ds650...I didn't know anything like that existed...people might as well start taking their trucks onto the mx track, probably do just as well...

yeah, lets here for the R's. I love to race the 4 pokes on the dunes. My 87 is stock and I stll can beat some of them up the hills

you should be able to smoke every 4 poke except maybe a YFZ450

I agree with 370banshee. You should smoke most 4 pokes, especially on the dunes. Keep up the good work on smokin them 4 pokes. BTW, the DS650 is a oversized, overweight pig that should be slaughtered and eaten.

Hey Crazy Racer, dial in your jetting, make damn sure your bearing carrier is fully packed with a high quality grease, through on some turf tamer [never let me down] tires, and you should be able to have your way with that DS 650.

By the way is your R properly ported.
