Without a headstay mounted you need to have all of the other (4) connected to the frame or you wll encounter some major issues. If you are not worried about the paint or powder coating it would be in you best interest to take the frame (with motor installed) to a welder and have the rear upper and rear lower mounts added to the frame.

If I am correct you only have the lower center and front mounts holding the motor in the frame. If so, you are begging for some major cracking to happen.

Usual setups:
All (5) mounts connected
(4) mounts without a headstay connection
(4) mounts without an upper rear mount

Thanks for your time...
The r currently has the
-front mounts
-lower middle mount
-upper rear

-NO head stay
-NO lower rear

DO you suggest having the lower rear welded? The head stay would not be an option because there is a paul turner cool head on it with no mounting hole.

Take your frame to a machine/welding shop with the engine intstalled and have them weld the rear lower mount onto the frame. Take a pic of the mount with you so they will know exactly what to do. The best way to do it is to remove the rear shock, swingarm, and the air box once the Quad is at the shop so they will have plenty of working room. Make sure you clean the area REALLY good too. Grease and grim will cause problems for the welder.

I'll try to get some good pics of the rear lower mount on my frame this weekend.
