| 3mm custom crank, fully balanced with an aluminum sleeve in a Pro-X jug. But I saw one the other day with a 4mm I think and just a regular old 310 making over 70hp. Just read where another guy on PS had his 4mm 72mm 310 cylinder run a 4.5, pretty fast for that size motor and the first run. But, I would push him to wait on the new CP jugs. They are going to be better than the Pro-X as you can imagine. Not sure how his is a 290, mine will be a 276 with a 4mm and a .080 piston, he could have one of the bigger sizes on avail for the stock cylinder, I hear they break the jug skirts easily though when bigger than .100. If he is really wanting a Pro-X 310 let me know I have a jug that needs fixed but is already about a TRX9 equiv porting and its polished with new orings and a ESR billet waterneck. It would get someone into a ported 310 or 330 depending on desired resleeve for around 700 ready to roll instead of 950 for a ported cast exterior jug. |

| well he has 4mm crank... and he must have a 265 cyl..... hes not in too much of a hurry..... and i'm not totally sure what type of power he's looking for... i know a center exit TRX5 is in his near future....

| Well my 310 is sold, he should just wait on the new Calvin cylinders. Although Calvin seems to be saying he designed them to work with the 72mm stroke. I was going to drop a 4mm in my stocker for some real torque but he is branding me for doing so, everyone assumes your building a drag motor or one to stomp 450's there. I thought it sounded like a good idea considering how the Pro-Xs run with them, but they are designed not much better than the stocker. Anyway that pipe will make a difference, and Im sure that crank will work fine with whatever he decides to buy. To me torque is never a bad thing, if it revs less so what, gear it taller and grunt your way around. |

| ok i talked to him today and told him to wait on the minisaber..... any ideas when it's supposed to be on the market....
