removing airbox?

minnesota is 500 feet.......you list of two stroke rides leads me to believe that you don't currently own an atv.....or at least a two stroke

i bought an 87 250r...only mods are a fmf fatty, keihin 39mm, and a k&n...

Don't remove your airbox on a 250R. You will loose HP. A 250R's airbox is designed to create a venturi which thus gives you more oxygen. All you need to do is run a K and N air filter with an outerwear and remove the airbox lid.

alright, cool, i was just asking about it....it has a filter with a prefilter and the lid is already gone.....thanks...i never had any intention of removing it, i was just curious
