what do you mean what kind of set up? and i just wanna see what kind of difference it would make...when you are pit riding top speed really doesnt matter...i dont have sand dunes any where near me and i dont drag so top speed really isnt too much of a factor

why are all the blaster people about top speed. its about quikness. evne in the duens your not in 6th full throttle it may seem like it but ur not. id definently go down a tooth for more acccelration and quikness. might have to shift a litle more. as far as stock size if u have a rocky mountain catelogue they have everyhting listed for certain year bikes and stock sizes they also have down a tooth or up a tooth listed. they got it all.

who says i am a blaster guy....i have owned them and i have a lot of respect for them.....top speed is just nice to have a lot of the time.....it's not always about quickness either.....your gonna have straight aways and top speed is gonna matter.....Holeshot or not......

back on track.....with that setup you ought to try it out.....a new front sprocket ain't that much and if you feel like it killed your top to much then go back....my buddy just went down two teeth on his front and he pulls up a hill like it was a flat paved road.....but that is what he loves.....when we are out surfing through the sand on the way to chockecherry he falls way behind..

if you want more bottom end get a bit smaller carb, im not sure what should be on an R but that sounds pretty good sized. otherwise you could mill your head, and maybe get it ported for more low end.
