Boomer is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Oil in stator side of engine.

Title says it. I was going to change the transmission oil in my 250r. Got underneath it noticed oil dripping from stator cover gasket. Took off (stator) cover and it was full of oil. Is there some seal on the balancer shaft that went bad.

same thing happened to me. I took the stator side cover off one day for the first time since I owned the bike and like a half a quart of this thick milky white oil poured out on the ground, I was like what the hell!? I cleaned it all out and pulled the flywheel and stator to look for anything unusual, but everything looked normal. the seal on the counter balancer looked fine also. I still cant figure out how there would be oil in that side
