| vf3 reeds and cage are worth it. the vf3 spacer ( if they have it for your bike ) is also worth it.... with better reeds you need to jet down a little..... |

| Yeah...USUALLY you jet down because the engine can make better use of the fuel vapor flow, so you don't need so much of it. But ultimately it depends on some other factors too

| well my mods are listed in sig but i went on there website and called them and they said the vf3 for the 250r has stiffer reeds and different intake side they said that the one for the cr250 s reeds brake under the increased load of the 4 wheeler sounds unlikely but im not sending a chunk though my motor so i gave it back to the guy and im ordering the correct one

| Hello, I got one of these for my 87 TRX295. It was originally for a CR250. Needless to say, it ran for about a half hour and then blew a big chunk of the reeds out through my airbox. BAM! That's when i found out the TRX reeds are stiffer than the CR reeds. Ken

| How does the increased load break reeds? So if you put a cr250 engine in a quad chassis the reeds will break? I can understand the differences in tension, but doesnt a bike rev as high as a quad? |

| anybody have some input? |
