400 ex spindles on a 250r

Will 400ex front wheel spindles work on 250r a arms?? and are they an upgrade or a downgrade if they can be used??? Thanks

The 400ex spindles can be used but you have to use the 400ex front brakes or I think someone sells an adapter plate to use the R brakes. I dont know about the wheel hubs though. Sometimes I see people saying that the hubs work for 400ex and an R but Im not sure about that.

I dont know first hand how good the 400ex brakes work but I do know they are single piston calipers and the R has twin piston calipers. I think sticking with the R would be the best bet.

I am using the Baldwin motorsports adapters on my 400EX spindle/250R caliper setup.

If you have the money 450R spindles, hubs and calipers are an even better choice.
