| if it has the stock cast cylinder, the guy is full of crap! The biggest you can go with a stock cylinder is 292cc. The 310 and 330 cylinders are made with more material, so you can tell just by looking at them that they're not stock. Any one that runs a big bore will also have a bigger carb on them too. Usually a 38mm or bigger. What year is the motor? The '86's have a shorter stroke then the '88 or '89's. The aluminum spacer plate thats between the base of the cylinder and the bottom end should be about a 1/4" thick. If there's no plate then the rod is still stock length. I had a 330 built and it cost me $2800.00, but that was because everything was replace, so its possible that he has that much in the motor, but he's got to be counting the price of the pipe too.... |

| It is the stock cylinder and therte is no plate it runs on cam 2 the compression is 195 what is stock i prolly dont even need to run race fuel i took them out on tar and race my 250r against my BONE stock lt250r and my lt250r ate it for lunch just completely raped it gave me a jump off the line then passed me to beast my by 2 quad lengths so wow iam up set and also i have kand n filter wit no lid and lrd full pipe it also has a carb spacer and a cool head but thats it the carb apears to be stock would an kiehn 38 mm airstryker wake it up and a larger rear sprocket because it is not rapping out like it should i cant even hear my full piped 250r against that stock lt i rap it out as much as possible and then shift to the next gear and it lugs like it isnt there and then it takes awhile to wind the R's up again and it still doesnt seem to be raping out like a 250r should http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3836549&rd=1,1 heres the web site on ebay |

| without knowing whats insdie its hard to say but one of the big reasons id say hes completely full of shit is your not going ot hit the 310cc with a stroker installed ,becasue adding stroke like say a 4mill is not going ot get you near that number so youd need a bigger bore too but that wouldnt get yo u on the 310 mark either ...a 310 kit is a very common big bore for a honda so it stands to reason this kid just read and wanted the big bore kit and bullshitted you.Also he didnt accent the engine work with good bolt ons leading me to belive hes a dipshit or a huge liar ...i have owned a ported stroker honda 250r and theres no way in Gods creation that a stock quadracer would even be close ,that thing should punch hard ,acceleraqte quick ,wheely up ina bout everygear.... it shouldnt be losing to a boner stock lt250 and should be clsoe to ported 350 banshees .

| Well thanks for your help its been good i shoulda been smarter i paid 2 grand for it and i just ordered a 38 mm airstryker. yea after i raced the lt2509 i was shocked the 250 isnt raping like it should tho what could cause that it is prolly as doggy as a stock 400ex what you think i should all add i think my buddy that works for sparks is gunna build me an engine but should i get reeds and what all should i get for the intake and such???? |
