Default milky oil in stator cover??

I got bored the other day while it was rainin so I thought i'd pull my stator side cover and check things out. and well I found this thick milky white nasty lookin oil in there. It was like this last time I checked it a couple months ago, the same milky oil. I dont understand though how I could be getting oil in there even. I pulled the balancer bearing carrier and it looked fine, the o-ring looked ok and didnt have any spots that looked like would leak. but I am missing one of the three bolts that hold it on there, the long one on the bottom. and I also noticed that my crank bearing is startin to get a little wore, I could move the crankshaft up and down inside the bearing a little.

Well,it could be from that bolt your missing but it probably has to do with your crankshaft end seals I would replace the seals and bearings and see were that gets you, that should solve your oil in the stator problem

I agree with 250r4life on replacing the bearings and seals. The seals are leaking oil into the cover and the missing bolt is allowing moisture to seep in there and mix with the oil. If you let the bearing go any longer you'll be replacing more than just bearings and seals.

Pull that seal out with a metal screw and see what you can. If the bearing looks and appears to roll over smoothly then put a new seal in. Use the stator bolted down to make sure it is strait and at the proper depth. If it still leaks its time for a split I would say.

I guess i'll just go ahead and split it when I get a chance on a weekend sometime, even though I hate to cause its running so damn good. but here lately its been sounding a little extra noisy in the bottom end stator side and plus it leaks tranny oil anyways from a hair line crack close to to the swingarm bolt, so i'll be able to jb weld that too.

I probably just order me a main bearings and seal kit and gasket kit sometime too. does anybody have any recemondations for main bearings? RMatv has a crank bearing kit by all balls for a decent price, or should I just order some honda oem bearings and seals? and would it be a good idea to get some fresh piston rings and needle bearing while its apart? I dont think it needs a piston cause I still have alot of compression and im pretty sure the bore is still in good shape. and is there any other bearings or seals or o-rings or anything that I should replace while I have it split? cause this is my first time spliting a R motor.
