Default R vs. Piped Banshee?

I am heading out to Dumont Dunes in 2 weeks with one of my uncles. Me and him will undoubtibly wind up racing up Comp hill. I figure his Banshee will pull on my R but i was just curious as to how close (or far) this race would be.

Me - 87 250R - ESR TRX5 pipe and Silencer, Uni Foam Filter with the Lid off the Airbox, Stock carb rejetted with a 168 main and a 52 pilot, Cheng Shin check shaped paddles. 155 pound rider.

Him - 96 Banshee - FMF bottom/mid pipes (gnarly i think) and silencers, re jetted stock carbs, ohlins suspension. Edge Paddles. roughly 190 pound rider.

any ideas how close this could be? both of us are about the same skill level. I will post the results when we get back.

hmmmm, this could go either way, should be a pretty close race. Im kinda leanin toward the banshee on this one though, it might edge out on top end. now if the R had a bigger carb like a 36 or 38mm it would stand alot better chance. but i've never rode in the sand before so I really dont know. it might come down to who has the best gearing for the hill and who can get the power down the best. are those cheng shin tires just cheap ones that dont hook very good? the banshee may have an edge also with the better tires. but anyways, im rootin for the R on this, good luck and hope you take the shee up the hill!
