| I just bought a motor that has reeds from a 1996 CR 250. The problem I ran in to is the rubber boot is shorter than my old one so my carb does not attach to my air box. Has anyone done this swap or have any suggestions on how to get them to hook up. pictures attached the one on the left is the CR and right is stock R thanks Ram |

| buy a half inch reed spacer |

I thought of that also, but I dont think it will work because the CR has the rubber go into the reed cage. If you put a spacer there the rubber would not match up with the cage. |
