Default trx 250r cool head

hay guys i just bought a pro design cool Head that i thought they used a o-ring system but the cool head that i just got off e-bay the instructions say to use a head gasket is this better then the o-ring system if not does any body know if some can convert it to an o-ring system

no there is no groves in the head for the o-rings

A capable machinist could do it, but if it aint broke... don't fix it.
I've run a regular cool head on my spare motor and have been happy with it.

get a stock honda head gasket it is three pieces you can simply take it apart and just use one metal piece that will give you more compression.
