The vibration is not as bad as what you read. It will vibrate but its not horrible. After having my crank balanced I would rate mine in the 2-3 area. I say go for it.

Finally got the head stay mount done, but I forgot that the new pipe runs right through the spot that I pu the mount, so I had to cut it off and start over again. Then it snowed today, so I just put the old solid mount on so I could put it together and ride around a bit. My old crank had been rebuilt and balanced a bit better than they come from the factory. The new one definately vibrates noticably more than the old one, but I think it will be a bit better after I put the headstay isolator back in. However, I still think I will end up having it balanced, but I will probably wait a while for that. The old lady was kind enough to come outside and capture a few seconds of video right before I ran out of gas. It is jetted very rich and I am running Dominator at about 20:1, so it is running kind of shitty.

I assume you mean a stock mount? I think I am just going to use the same mount I had in there, I just have to put it in where it won't be in the way of anything this time. The solid mount I have in there now is similar to a stock mount, I just wan't to put a rubber one in there.
