Hey guys, well the quad was put on the back burner for a few weeks. I just bought my first house so I have been pretty busy with all the moving and getting settled in. Anyway, last time I was out I broke my kicker arm. Any of you guys know where I can get another one aftermarket or oem?

I ended up getting that motor for $165. It needs a new top end and a stater and flywheel. I think it was a decent deal. Bottom end is in great shape.

Hey guys I will be selling my TRX500 AAEN custom made pipe with only a couple weekends on it.

It was designed to run with stock to mild porting on the cr500 motors.

worked much better than my modified FMF Fatty I had on it when I first built my bike.

It will have a FMF turbine spark arrestor silencer with it.

The mounting of the silencer was never to my liking so you will probably want to address that or adapt another 1 1/4 silencer to the pipe.

I am selling because I will be running a drag pipe and have no use for it and have another inframe higher rpm pipe.

I am looking for 200 plus shipping, I have over 400 in it.

I also will be selling my 55 tooth rear sprocket I ran last year.
It worked real well with the 14 and 15 front sprockets along with 22" tall 12 extreme paddle tires launching in second gear.

Going with a overide trans so I have to go back to launching in first plus I have done a bunch of motor work that will require me to run a smaller rear sprocket.

allot of people looked at me with funny looks because of the size of the sprocket but most people don't realize that the 500 trans are geared way higher than the trx250r trans.

I would run it again if I still had a stockish motor in the sand.

not sure how much I want for it but I will let it go for a good price.

Hey guys, Wow this is a long thread lol, good one tho. Anyway, here be mine, it's just about complete. Custom made Laegar frame made by Mike himself and custom mounted/bushed for the 500 motor. Yes it still vibrates lol. Paul Turner pipe, again custom made for the bike. JRD everything else including custom swingarm. I also did a lot of custom fabrication on it too. Motor is done by Rage ATV and has been dyno'd close to 70 hp with potential for lots more with a different pipe and port timing. UNFORTUNATELY I bought a house and will be selling this soon It has like 4 hours on it since I got the motor done! It was fun building tho and is a BEAST. May part out because I dunno how many will want to go MX. Lemme know what you guys think.

What was done to the bottom end, did you have anyone balance the crankshaft, static or dynamic?

How about a photo album of pics, I wanna see the fab work.

Yep, Rage sent the crank to Crankworks for balancing. I would imagine its dynamic balanced as I wanted as much done to eliminate vibration as they could do. Everything that could have been replaced was, bearings, crank pin, rod, etc. And of course the bottom end was ported to match the top in order to make the power.

How do I make an album? I think I can just post the individual pics like I did above right?
