| this is probably not the best place to ask that question. you'd have better luck on a 4 stroke site

| Now why would you want to go and do a silly thing like that? If you are going to put a motorcycle engine in your R, be a man and use a CR500 motor. But if you are set on the CRF motor just study a 450R, the frame geometry is still pretty close to that of the R, and the motor is similar to the CRF.

| no iam going with the crf bc it is the production 450 right now but iam keeping the 2 stroke frame i race national tt/flattrack and you have to have a production 450 i think the only reason they are doing this is bc my honda 265 was making there new 450s look bad and now you cant run ''R''s bc it is not a production quad any more so i look at it as not switching to a fourstroke just giving my ''R'' some steroids...

Calm down man. I know how strong the crf is. Just have to give him some shit about the four stroke sickness he is trying to inject into this poor 250r frame

| to me it doesnt make much sense to do this becuase the newer framed quads have really good geometery similar to the honda better welds and reinforcments and theyre stronger....... alot of the honda 250rs awesome ability and track manners is due to its light weight engine and low center of gravity which you wouldnt have by running a 4 stroke production engine .sad to say but in this instance yo u may just be better off buying a new four stroke production bike like a LTR450 and cherry/yoshi bomb it to compete to their g@y rules
