HID Spot or Flood?

first off i ride a 250r fourtrax with an upgraded stator and battery conversion. as of right now i run a hella rally 4000 compact hid on a custom handle bar mount......which is a little shaky/vibrations......i was looking to maybe purchase two of the trail tech hids to mount on the bars and move the 4000 to the front end. the rally 4000 is a spot pattern, should the bar lights be flood or spot? does it defeat the purpose if the floods are on the bars and the spot is down low?
