Default Best ball joints?

I broke a ball joint on my bottom a-arm and I was wondering what is the best replacement for the buck. I have older LSR +2s and plan to replace all of them. Do I have to go through LSR or are they pretty universal?

Is there a place like BDI that would carry them or are they model specific?

A ball joint for a 1969 VW bus is the same thing, and also a 79 to 83 ford courrier (SP) pick up truck. Take yours to the auto parts to compare them...they are usually around 18.00 a piece.

I ended up using MFG# ES2096R, they are tie rod ends from a couple of import cars. They have the right taper for a stock spindle and have the correct thread to fit my LSRs. I wanted to see how they worked before I gave out the number. They have survived riding around the house and 2 trips to the dunes. At the dunes I hit a 90+ ft jump and several jumps with large elevation differences. They may break tomorrow, but they are holding up well and cost around $90 for all four.
