petcock broke

i was taking my carb off today and my petcock was not stopping the gas from coming out it was this flowing everywhere i had it on off and gas was this poring out willl its broking now is there any alternatives to fixing this like running a different switch or buying a rebuilt kit becouse a brand new one is 65 bucks this for a switch
