How high of an octane is necessary for the 310? The paperwork ESR ships it with says 98 for pump gas and 102 for race gas. I have both domes, but most places around me only have 91 at the pump. Should I go with this an buy some octane booster? I have never used that stuff, is it a waste of money or does it actually do the trick? I was going to buy some race gas and told him I was thinking of mixing 112 with 91 and he said it was a dumb idea and would not achieve anything. I am new to this whole higher octane world, been riding a stock 250r for 5 years and decided to step it up so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

DO NOT use octane booster, it can be bad for the engine, and theres no such thing as 98 octane pump gas, the highest ive ever seen was 94, so esr must have made a typo or something, 91 should work on the pump dome

I had a feeling it was junk, but didn't want to just assume. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the link. I found the company on ebay and purchased one from there. I was wanting one like this but all of them ran off of the wrong current. This battery one is perfect. Thanks again.
