you will get more comfortable with it when u get more experince with the forward kick and like other people have said on here dont half ass the kick start at the top of the stroke and all the way down with good force but not too much force

and expermint with kicking it find the sweet spots on it

i have actually been throwin off the bike almost by the kick starter coming back up

i would say dont start at the top, i normally start like 3-4 clicks above where it stops, and just kick it like 4-5 times one after another really fast and it'll start right up

i usaully just kick the mother, and it only recoils once in a blue moon, also you shouldnt use shoes, it kills my feet if i do

did you ever find a solution? I am in the same boat as you, my foot is so black and blue I wont even be able to start my 250r for a week just put in a new cdi and checked the harness no luck. I even bought thicker work boots but no luck..If anyone has a solution lemme know pls

Advance the timing slightly, worked on my zilla wich backicked alot until i advanced it.
