old base gasket

will i took most of my old base gasket off like 98.9 percent but there is some spots were there real hard to take off like on the edges and around the bolts how do i get the rough stuff of

Spray on some WD40 and let it soak in to loosen up the gasket. Use a brass wire brush to get it off. The brass wont gouge up the aluminum.
