trx 450 front shock?

is it a good idea to run the 450r front shock on the 86 250r? and will they fit without mods? i can get a clean set for 100 bucks.

from what i hear they will fit but they are setup for a-arms that are +2 compared to stock 250r arms so they will be stiff if you dont have aftermarket a-arms on your 250r

With stock arms they will bolt directly on but they are really stiff,ANd i have seen nice condition front sets sell for like 200+

if your running stock arms be sure to check for binding at the ball joints.

yeah it will make your front end sit up higher too even with the springs all the way loose
