My bike is a 89 Duncan Racing/Paul Turner National TRX250R. Carb is keihin. Just got it running after a 4 yr set. Ran perfect for about 1.5 hrs total ride time. Then after a 20 min. ride it suddenly would not take fuel (110 Oct. w/927mix). It cranks fine. Idles fine w/choke out. W/choke in it idles high and inconsistent. You can move it around w/choke out but not really ride it. Bogs instantly when throttle is applied w/choke in. Sorry this is so dang long. Great Forum! ![]()

i bet the carb is like a big jello container after 4 years. pull the buggers out of it put some fresh gas in it and go riding... Good luck man

have a look at the reeds with the carb off, and also check your gas cap vent tube make sure it didn't clog like one of my bikes did

Thanks for all the suggestions, So far this is what ive done. Took bowl off carb-- clean as a whistle, took main jet and slow jet out, both were also clean and open-- hit em w/ carb cleaner any way. when i put in storage years ago I completely drained the tank and the carb. I also thought it might be the gas cap but it is venting fine. I ve also sprayed the boot that goes to the reed cage w/ PB blaster and WD-40 to try a find a possible vacuum leak to no avail. I think the carb needle clip is the next thing to try... Thanks again and Im still looking for suggestions!
