 Help : Yr of engine based on engine numbers!!! Can anyone help me ...I need to figure out what yr my engine is as the stator is gone. Think it is a 89 but not sure is there anything on the engine serial that can give me a clue to the yr of manufacture. Cheers, Big Red      |

| Thanks ! It just confused me as "Ricky Stator" sells a 86-88 stator but has a separate 89 stator. Cheers, D |

| Sorry to steal this thread but i would also like to know if there is a way to id a honda 250r motor by the numbers on the case? I bought a complete bottom end and i just want to make sure its the year that i was told it was. Thanks!
