Default Most compression/minimum squish

Whats the most compression that can be safely run on a stock ported cylinder/stock crank and rod?

Also, whats the minimum safe squish clearance?

I'd say .40 thousandths clearance and around 220 pounds would be the most you would want with really high test gas.

Thanks,my quad is setup to use the stock head gasket.
It has been ported and then decked. It was decked to cure the negative deck height.
I ordered a cometic gasket set,and they didnt send me a stock style gasket, its smaller,so im going to try it out.
Im at about 180 psi right now. Guess ill see what happens. It actually has slight positive deck height right now.

you could run a CR head gasket to raise compression if you have enough clearance

get a factory oem gasket and drill out the rivet. Use one of the thin gaskets along with the cr gasket. Or just the 2 thin pieces off the oem. Whatever adds up.
