this is probably a simple fix, so im just wondering where you guys think i should look, so any direction is greatly appreciated. my r is an 87, has lrd pipe, and k and n with outerwears, rest is stock to my knowledge. i had a problem with midrange power when i bought it, i just figured it was too cold for the jetting.but, everytime i would get it started, oil would come out of every meeting place in the exhaust, and would shoot forward out of the silencer. so, i took the silencer of and removed the packing assuming it wasnt allowing enough flow. i then got it to start, and while i was warming it up, i got a call, and let it die, now i havent been able to start it since. any thoughts?

Did you check the sparkplug? if it was running a little rich then you probably fouled the plug...

i use amsoil dominator at 50:1

| Another indicator of a bad seal is if your exhaust smells bad. Burned tranny oil doesn't smell very good, a lot different than your normal fuel/amsoil.

well, i pulled out a br8es race plug, put in a new br9es normal plug, and it started on the second kick, so im assuming i fouled the br8. but, it still bogs in first, a little in second, but the bog is gone in 3rd gear and up. whats that about?
